A Belarus climber perished in one of the most difficult sections of the so-called Vasilev"s route in Ushba mountain.
He was accompanied by other climber, who approached the partner with the rope, but could not save him.
Border police helicopter has already arrived to Mestia, but due to poor visibility the crew was forced to offload the group of rescuers on one of the sections.
