A Belarus climber perished in one of the most difficult sections of the so-called Vasilev"s route in Ushba mountain.

He was accompanied by other climber, who approached the partner with the rope, but could not save him.

Border police helicopter has already arrived to Mestia, but  due to poor visibility  the crew was forced  to offload the group of rescuers on one of the sections. 

This is the third climber who died in Georgian mountains in the last week.

A Czech mountaineer fell into the gap and died from injuries on July 31.  A body of the Israeli tourist was found in Racha after several days of the rescue operation.

Within a week of the death of climbers in the mountains this is the third case. In all three cases the foreigners were in the mountains without a guide. An alpinist- Shota  Komakhidze says that the tourists refuse to hire the guide because of the fee they have to pay.
