“I do not know whether the government will be happy with it, but Georgia, in my opinion, due to Ukraine’s merits and geopolitical circumstances, will receive candidate status. We will get this status with a very long list of reservations.

There will be everything: serious changes in the court, the Prosecutor’s Office, the police, the electoral system; de-oligarchization, media freedom, practical guarantees of human rights, a number of other institutional changes.

Ukraine and Moldova will also have reservations, but much less”, - writes Mikheil Saakashvili.
