The President of Georgia congratulated Ukraine and Moldova on being granted candidate status.

“Congratulations to Volodymyr Zelensky and Maia Sandu and to the people of Ukraine and Moldova on this day of hope.

Being granted candidacy is a historic step that shows the unity and will of the EU and all its member states.

We the three associated members are together on our European path”, - tweeted Salome Zourabichvili.
