The President of the European Council posted a photo of the meeting with Irakli Garibashvili on Twitter and wrote that the European Union continues to support Georgia.

“With Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili reaffirmed European Union’s support to Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

This is a truly geostrategic moment. Last week EUCO decided on Georgia’s EU membership perspective.

We commit further support to advance the process pursuing much needed reforms”, - tweeted Charles Michel.
