What was the cause of intoxication of a hundred of people in Kakheti besides Noroviruses will be determined in two days as a result of bacterial research.

It is known that all of the intoxicated patients had Noroviruses which are spread as a result of poor hygiene via contaminated food and water.

Chemical analysis has not confirmed water contamination . Microbiological research results will be known today.

24 patients remain in Kvareli and two patients in Telavi hospitals stays. Most of them are children.

According to the Head of Ministry`s Health emergency coordination department ,Avtandil Talakvadze explained, proved it can be said that the cause of poisoning is norovirus.
