According to the Global Peace Index, Georgia ranks second in the world in terms of 10-year progress in peace. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of the country.
“As for the whole historical improvement of the index, Georgia ranked first. This is also a serious recognition. 163 countries participated in this study and naming our country in the second place is really a recognition of the right, reasonable and national policy that our Government has been carrying out for ten years to protect our people and their interests.
For comparison, I would like to recall here that in 2012 Georgia was in the last 20 in these rankings, i.e. in 140th place among 163 countries.
We have made such great progress, it is the result of the right policy of Bidzina Ivanishvili and our team, Georgian Dream that he left”, - said Irakli Garibashvili said.
