Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia held a farewell meeting with Carl Hartzell, European Union Delegation Head today.

Meeting was focused on the current cooperation of Georgia and the EU in various fields. Significant progress and positive trend of bilateral relations was noted at the meeting also.

According to the Head of Government, the decision on granting European Perspective to the country was truly historic and by doing so Council of Europe as well as leaders of EU member states confirmed that the future of Georgia rests within the EU.

Irakli Garibshvili expressed sheer gratitude to Carl Hartzell for the unwavering support of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and European path of Georgia.

Prime Minister highlighted the substantial contribution of Carl Hartzell in advancing the bilateral relations between Georgia and EU, thereby wishing him every success in future endeavors.
