The delegation of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, chaired by David McAllister, is visiting Georgia. Members of the delegation will start today meetings in Tbilisi.
The annual report on Georgia’s implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union and the application made by the country regarding the EU candidate status will be discussed during the meetings.
Within the framework of the visit, the members of the delegation will meet with the President of Georgia, the Ombudsman, the non-governmental sector, representatives of the executive power and the opposition.
