Erosi Kitsmarishvili, one of the founders of Rustavi 2, before his death told another founder,Pikria Chikhradze that in the process of fight for the TV station, "He could be disregarded only if he was not killed ." Chikhradze said that the former TV Director had his plans related to return of his shares and he was convinced that the legal action against Rustavi 2 could not be initiated without him .

Eliso Kiladze claims that there is direct link between Kitsmarishvili death and Kibar Khalvashi"s legal proceedings against the Rustavi 2.
