The opposition parties regard the processes against Rustavi as ordered by the government. A representative of the Free Democrats, Alexi Petriashvili is convinced that this is not just a dispute between private property owners.

"I can not agree with the government"s position that this is a just dispute between individuals, it is a well prepared and arranged by the government to no longer have a critical voice in our country," - says Alex Petriashvili.

The National Movement shares this position and even names the person who issued this order.

"Today it will become clear whether the judiciary fullfils the orders of Ivanishvili and whether the repressive measures against Rustavi 2 are taken. Freedom of speech and the development of democracy at risk," - explained Sergo Ratiani.
