At the session of the Tbilisi government, Kakha Kaladze spoke about the increase in the flow of passengers in public transport. As he said, new turnstiles to be arranged at the “Akhmeteli Theater” and “Varketili” metro stations in order to solve this problem.

“In case of a new turnstiles, it will be possible to arrange 9 exits, which allows 30% more passengers.

Rehabilitation of 11 metro stations is planned with the involvement of international financial organizations. The budget is USD 44 million”, - said the Mayor of Tbilisi.
