The representatives of the Ministry of Economy presented to the members of the Georgian Business Association a new mechanism for supporting the energy sector.

In particular, the Government presented a new model of financing in the energy sector. The Minister of Economy answered the questions.

The new support scheme includes support for the construction of power plants with a total capacity of 1,500 megawatts over the next three years by auction. This does not include the 800 megawatts I mentioned and the big projects.
