The remains of 11 missing individuals who went missing during the 1992 - 1993 armed conflicts in the Russian-occupied Georgian region of Abkhazia have been identified and a memorial service will be held today and tomorrow – December 7 [from 17:00] and December 8 [11:00 – 14:00] - at Trinity Cathedral, Tbilisi.

According to the State Ministry of Reconciliation and Civil Equality, out of 11 identified remains, 8 were military personnel and 3 civilians.

The funeral for the 3 identified bodies will take place at the Digomi Brothers Cemetery with military honours.
