The opposing wings of the United National Movement organized solidarity rallies in support of Mikheil Saakashvili in different locations.

A rally, organized by the Chairman of the UNM Nuka Melia, was held on the Peace Bridge in Tbilisi. The rally started with the anthems of Georgia and Ukraine. The participants unfurled the banner – “For Misha’s Life” from the Peace Bridge.

As Nika Melia said, the stable, democratic development of Georgia and the assassination of the country’s third president are mutually exclusive.

A rally in solidarity with Mikheil Saakashvili, organized by Levan Khabeishvili, was held near the Government Administration.

The organizers displayed former president’s photos on the wall of the Government Administration with a projector to show “how he looked before his imprisonment and how he is now”.

In addition, the participants of the rally marched to the Bidzina Ivanishvili business center.
