The Prosecutor’s Office summoned Khatia Dekanoidze, one of the leaders of the Unity National Movement, and Badri Japaridze from “Strong Georgia” coalition for questioning as part of the investigation into possible election fraud.
As Dekanoidze said, she is not going to go to the Prosecutor’s Office and will testify in Tbilisi City Court in the presence of a magistrate judge. She expresses distrust of the Prosecutor’s Office and says that “the mentioned investigative agency expresses the interests of one person”.
“I think this is a formal interview, because the Prosecutor’s Office must have already established the people who committed the forgery. Obviously, there has been no investigation so far, nor have those people who committed violations of the law publicly and for all to see been held accountable”, - added Badri Japaridze.
