Deepening of the cooperation between Georgia and the European Union was discussed at the meeting of Kobakhidze, the Chairman of the Georgian Dream, and Pawel Herczynski, the European Union Ambassador to Georgia.

According to the existing information, they reviewed development of the ties and implementation of the bloc’s conditions for granting Georgia the membership candidate status.

The discussion comes amid the ongoing work for the country to meet the conditions, outlined by the European Commission and formally set out by the European Council in 2022.
