Visa-free travel arrangement has become more simplified between Georgia and Armenia, as Irakli Garibashvili and Nikol Pashinyan signed a document enabling the citizens of both countries to cross the border with biometric idrntity cards.

Intergovernmental Economic Commission Meeting was held in Yerevan today. It was co-chaired by Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia and Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia.

Intergovernmental Economic Commission Meeting was followed by a signing of a document by Prime Ministers of Georgia and Armenia, which further eases the visa-free travel arrangement and enables the citizens of both countries to cross the border with biometric identity cards.

Protocol of the 12th Meeting of the Intergovernmental Economic and Trade Cooperation Commission was also signed today.

Commission Meeting engaged the Government Officials and representatives of relevant public institutions of Georgia and Republic of Armenia.
