Igor Terekhov, the Mayor of Kharkiv, and Maksym Kozytskyy, the Head of the Administration of Lviv, extended their gratitude to the Government of Georgia for the delivery of power generators to Ukraine.
In a letter sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, they said that they were “grateful” for the humanitarian assistance provided at the initiative of the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, noting the aid was of “significant help” in overcoming the challenges posed by power cuts and destruction of infrastructure by Russian airstrikes and other combat action.
“The generators had been distributed among critical infrastructure utilities of the local administrations to ensure the functioning of the city under the most difficult conditions by supplying electricity to medical facilities, pumping stations, water supply facilities, and city boilers.
These generators would not only improve the situation in terms of providing facilities with electricity, but would also help solve problems related to the winter period”, - wrote Igor Terekhov.
“With our deep gratitude, we sincerely wish the Georgian people peace and prosperity. May this year be successful, fruitful, filled with positive emotions and new achievements”, -added Maksym Kozytskyy.
