Statue of Ali and Nino dismantled

The Statue of Love sculpture inspired by love story of "Ali and Nino" was dismantled in Batumi. Reportedly heavy rain has damaged the foundation of the monument what became the reason to move it.

According to social networks, one of the pieces of the statue crashed and crumbled in the process. The author Tamar Kvesitadze has no information about the incident. The administration of the boulevard refuses to make any comment .
