The Prime Minister of Georgia expresses condolences over the death of Zaza Aleksidze.

“It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Zaza Aleksidze, a prominent Georgian historian, philologist, and expert in Armenian and Oriental studies.

The demise of a scholar of his magnitude is a heavy loss for the Georgian scientific community.

I extend my sympathy to his family, colleagues, and loved ones”, - says Irakli Garibashvili.
