Ambassador of Georgia was told at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine that they do not see any danger regarding the presence of Ukrainian citizens in Georgia - Foreign Ministry

Giorgi Zakarashvili, Ambassador of Georgia to Ukraine, met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis.

“At the meeting, the parties discussed the current issues of bilateral relations between Georgia and Ukraine. The Georgian side once again noted Georgia’s support and solidarity with Ukraine.

The Ukrainian side expressed its gratitude to Georgia for both political support and important humanitarian aid provided during the war.

Among them, gratitude was expressed from the side of Ukraine regarding the reception of Ukrainian refugees. It was noted that Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine are grateful to the Georgian side for receiving Ukrainian citizens in Georgia and for their assistance, and they do not see any danger regarding the presence of Ukrainian citizens in Georgia“, - reads the statement of the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
