In Gori a man commits suicide after shooting his wife and mother-in-law dead

A 65-year-old man shot his wife and mother-in-law dead in the village of Rekha, Gori municipality, and then committed suicide.

According to the neighbors, the man is a former police officer, Khvtiso Petriashvili. He and his wife moved to Rekha from Gori a few years ago.

Relatives cannot talk about the versions of what happened. Police officers are working at the scene of the incident. The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation on the case.
