BBC investigation about the billion-dollar scam explains in detail why it considers Kezerashvili to be one of the central figures in the scheme

The BBC investigative film about the billion-dollar scam explains in detail why it considers David Kezerashvili to be one of the central figures in the scheme.

According to the investigative journalist, although there are no publicly available documents linking the former Defense Minister of Georgia to the Milton group implementing this scheme, there are indirect evidences of this.

As the author says, as a result of the investigation, 5 persons were identified - David Todua, Rati Chelidze, Guram Gogeshvili, Joseph Mgeladze and Michael Benimini, who are named as managers of the Milton trading platform, EverFx or supporting technical companies.

“The trading platform EverFx is one of those that mainly offers people of retirement age to invest money and promises to make a profit through trading, but then fraudulently rips off these people of their financial funds.

It is Kezerashvili who is connected with the company Axios, which owns EverFx, and he is also connected with the company NEWAGE, which created the trading platform and website for EverFx”, - says the author.
