We do not have a security umbrella or guarantees, therefore it is particularly important for us that our Government takes the right steps, said the Prime Minister of Georgia at the second forum of the European Political Community.
“I have repeatedly said that, unfortunately, today our country is partially, temporarily occupied. The occupation of our territories is one of the main challenges. Unfortunately, we are not a member country of the European Union or NATO, and we certainly do not have a security umbrella or guarantees.
Therefore, it is extremely important for us that our Government takes the right steps to, first of all, protect our country in this highly unpredictable environment, save our country, and of course, we must take care of the safety of our population, our people.
Our policy is a peaceful policy, we have maintained peace, strengthened it and we are leading our country to unification”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
