Employment is at an all-time high, unemployment is at an all-time low, said today the Prime Minister of Georgia before the start of the Government session.
“The number of jobs increased in the first quarter, 42 000 more jobs were created in the first quarter and amounted to 716 000, which is a record high number of employees in the business sector in the first quarter. This is very good information.
In other words, employment is at an all-time high and unemployment is at an all-time low. Also, poverty has been reduced and is at a historical low.
For comparison, I would like to note here that the unemployment rate was 27% in 2010, and now it is 17%. Such a big progress in 10 years”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
