Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia.
The meeting at the Administration of the Government focused on the human rights situation in Georgia.
The conversation touched on the progress achieved in terms of protecting human rights. It was noted that, over the past ten years, the situation in this regard has improved and changed drastically. Two documents of Georgia’s National Strategy for the Protection of Human Rights-one covering the years 2014-2020, and the other spanning the years 2022-2030-were underlined.
Prospects of future cooperation were also discussed at the meeting.
