Partnership ties between Georgia and the United Kingdom were discussed in a meeting between the Georgian Foreign Minister and his British counterpart on the sidelines of the ongoing NATO Vilnius Summit.
Ilia Darchiashvili and James Cleverly “noted with satisfaction” the “traditionally friendly and partnerly ties” established between the two countries, the Georgian foreign office said.
The meeting focused on the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia. Darchiashvili emphasized the significance of the United Kingdom’s support in facilitating this process.
