Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Arielle Malard de Rothschild, Managing Director of Rothschild & Co.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the document for transforming Georgia into a regional hub. The document is under development and it seeks to turn the country into a multifunctional hub in the directions of technologies, education, and finances alike.
Focus was made on the topic of shaping the country into a regional financial center, which will help attract investments, create new jobs, and share modern financial and technological innovations.
At the meeting, Georgia’s favorable investment environment was reiterated, and so was the development of the capital market as one of the most important directions of the country’s economic policy.
The meeting at the Government Administration was attended by Rothschild & Co Advisor Pierre Adeline and Co-Founders of Conduct Stefan Liniger and Tilla Caveng, also by Head of the Government Administration Revaz Javelidze representing the Georgian side.
