US Senate supports the appointment of Robin Dunnigan as the US Ambassador to Georgia

The US Senate supported the appointment of Robin Dunnigan to the position of US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia by oral vote.

As it known, Kelly Degnan will be replaced by Robin Dunnigan.

Previously she served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Central and Eastern Europe in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs. Prior to this assignment she served as Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., and Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Austria. She also was Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Energy Resources.
