I didn’t have any desire to even slightly offend or belittle someone’s merits, heroism, I really didn’t have the goal and intention of doing so, said today Mikheil Sarjveladze, MP from the Georgian Dream.
“On the day when I was speaking, I said and I will repeat again today that it happens very often when certain phrases are spread out of context and this creates a certain wrong impression and wrong perceptions.
What Irakli Kobakhidze said yesterday was absolutely correct, however I want to say here that what looked most brave and absolutely correct, certainly no one, neither on the 1st day, nor on the 2nd day, had any intention to diminish it - the merits of anyone, the heroic deeds of anyone, and the heroism of anyone. This is a very commendable thing that Irakli did.
Of course, I agree with this statement. I want to confirm my deep respect for anyone who not only survived, but showed heroism, although we must not forget and say that neither Irakli nor I have ever had the intention and desire to offend anyone, we really didn’t want to belittle someone’s merits - of course, we ask for forgiveness if it turned out that way and someone got the impression that we belittled someone’s merits”, - said Mikheil Sarjveladze.
