German Foreign Minister says she supports Germany’s coalition government’s move to list Georgia and Moldova as safe countries of origin.

According to Annalena Baerbock, on their way to the European Union, the two countries have been enacting large-scale changes in the areas of rule of law, democracy, and human rights.

The Government of Germany approved a bill by Minister of Internal Affairs Nancy Faeser to list Georgia and Moldova as safe countries of origin on August 30.
