The Chief Public Prosecutor of the Central Netherlands District Attorney’s Office urgently looking for 28-year-old Tornike Manvelidze, the son of writer Gocha Manvelidze.

“Due to a fatal stabbing incident in Utrecht, the police are urgently looking for Tornike Manvelidze - 28 years old, who comes from Tbilisi in Georgia.

The police suspect the 28-year-old man of being involved in the fatal stabbing incident on Tuesday, September 19. The incident took place around 6 p.m. in a hotel on the Helling in Utrecht. One victim, a 32-year-old man from Georgia, was seriously injured and later died in hospital. It is unknown where Tornike Manvelidze currently resides. Therefore, a recent photo and his identity are released.

The suspect has a light complexion, is not very tall and has a slim build. He has brown hair, brown eyes and a dark beard. On Tuesday evening he was wearing dark or black clothing. If you have any information, call 112”, - reads the statement.
