"The government has already crossed all the red lines in relation with media" - Nika Gvaramia

Media representatives have discussed the closure of different talk shows , trial against Rustavi2 and  the media situation in whole. 

Media representatives participating in the meeting underlined the importance of a free media environment before the elections.

"Definitely it is high time  for the  international community, diplomatic corps and non-governmental organizations to get involved in the process, because  the government has already crossed all red lines in relation with media. They are taking serious steps to restrict the media. This process will  destroy  pluralism in the country and elections 2016 without media pluralism will be illegitimate ,"- said General Director of Rustavi 2, Nika Gvaramia.

Representatives of the media informed the Diplomats about existing problems .
