Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Faig Guliyev.

The Ambassador introduced to the Minister of Internal Affairs a newly appointed Attache of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Adil Baghirov, who has recently started his service in Georgia.

Vakhtang Gomelauri congratulated the Police Attache of the Republic of Azerbaijan on his appointment and wished him success in his future activities.

During the meeting, parties highlighted the importance of active cooperation in the field of law enforcement between two states. The Minister of Internal Affairs drew particular attention to the significant role of Police Attaches in advancing bilateral cooperation.

Parties also discussed future prospects of collaboration and expressed their readiness to actively continue cooperation in various areas.
