The President of Georgia invites two political forces – “Strong Georgia” and “Gakharia for Georgia” - tomorrow, September 17, to hold negotiations in the Orbeliani Palace.

“The turning point in the history of elections in Georgia is approaching, and our citizens must make a very important decision that will determine the future of our country.

Now we need one thing to make it easier for opposition voters. A positive third center that the undecided voters are waiting for and that has the ability to create the necessary charge for full mobilization in society.

The decision is in the hands of 2 pro-European forces – “Strong Georgia” and “Gakharia for Georgia”. I hope that at this significant stage for the country, they will be able to take a step that will give voters more clarity. A step that will convince voters that political parties can give up a lot for the sake of saving the country and play an important role in shaping the European future, which no one will forget.

I welcome Mamuka Khazaradze’s public readiness, and I also know that there is a similar readiness on the part of Giorgi Gakharia, the election calendar leaves us very little time for the final decision. I will invite both political forces to the Orbeliani Palace tomorrow, so that the last stage of the talks can be held immediately.
