The European Commission publishes a post on the social network about issuing a positive recommendation regarding Georgia and emphasizes the progress achieved by the country.

“This week we’ve recommended that the EU Council grants Georgia the status of a candidate country.

Georgia has taken steps to strengthen engagement with the European Union and increased pace of reforms in the recent months”, - write the European Commission.
