Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia held and led a meeting of the European Integration Commission at the Government Administration today.

Meeting was focused on the positive recommendation of the European Commission regarding the EU candidate status to be granted to Georgia. It was emphasized that the referred decision is a significant step made forward on the path of Georgia’s European integration and the country will continue pursuing its reforms.

Every agency engaged in the implementation of the said reforms over the years were represented at the meeting today. Commission discussed the implementation of the recommendations and the coordinated work of various agencies in this process.

Commission also discussed the next year’s agenda, as well as concrete steps that need to be taken, so that Georgia continues implementing its reforms.
