Music industry giant Live Nation is entering the Georgian market

After successful cooperation with Black Sea Arena [BSA] in 2023, Live Nation [LN] enters the Georgian market.

According to the BSA, cooperation with the leading company of the entertainment industry will give Georgia the opportunity to organize events of modern standards and make available to Georgia such sought-after artists, whose visit to the country was previously unthinkable.

Georgia is the 1st and only country in the region, which will become the host of the events held under the auspices of LN, thereby additionally attracting tourists interested in the entertainment industry from both the region and other nearby countries.

According to reports, the first year of cooperation between BSA and LN turned out to be quite fruitful: in the space of a month, 2 completely sold-out stadiums, up to 30,000 tickets sold out in 7 hours, a double-sold charter from a neighboring country are an incomplete list of precedents that Created during the first season of Starring Georgia.

“LN is a magnate of the world entertainment industry, which operates in 40 countries of the world, and Georgia became the 41st partner country in a row. LN organizes around 45,000 concerts and more than 100 festivals annually worldwide. Among them are the biggest festivals are Mad Cool and Lollapalooza.

LN annually buys the rights of artists to organize their world tours and concerts. These artists include such names as Madonna, Jay-Z, Coldplay, The Weekend and other most sought-after artists in the Georgian market, that LN cooperates with such organizations as Netflix, UFC, etc. It also owns the world’s largest ticketing platform, Ticketmaster, which sells 7 tickets per second worldwide.

“Starring Georgia” is a 2-year campaign initiated by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, which is implemented together with the BSA team. Within the first season of the campaign, Georgia has already hosted such famous world stars as: Imagine Dragons, Bruno Mars, The Killers, Damian Lazarus, All Day I Dream. In the end, 5 events, which were held in the social space and the 2 largest stadiums of Georgia, in addition to the BSA, hosted up to 100,000 music fans”, - reads the statement.
