Snow, blizzard, low temperatures – the weather to worsen in Georgia

Snowfall, blizzard conditions, and icy roads are expected in Georgia starting from the end of January 12 to the second half of January 14.

According to the National Environment Agency, a strong westerly wind is expected on January 13, possibly leading to a storm of 3-4 points at sea.

The forecast suggests an intensification of frost during the night hours on January 14-15.

The anticipated drop in air temperature to -3, -5 degrees in the lowlands of Western Georgia may cause damage to citrus crops.

There’s also a possibility of restricting traffic on certain sections of highways.
