Another fully renovated street will be added to Rustavi. The project, which Rustavi City Hall is starting to implement, envisages the complete rehabilitation of Tashkenti Street.

Before the start of the infrastructure project, Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze held a working meeting.

The meeting was attended by the deputy mayors of Rustavi - Kakha Guruli and Besik Togonidze, the faction of the City Council Georgian Dream and the representatives of the winning company.

At this stage, “Rustavservice Center” is carrying out preparatory works on the dividing line of Tashkenti Street.

As part of the rehabilitation of Tashkenti Street, a 570-meter long road section and sidewalks will be renewed, a new drainage network, outdoor lighting, irrigation system, bicycle paths, parking, and new municipal transport stops will be provided. Recreational chairs will be placed in the territory, arrangement of new green spaces is also planned.

The cost of the project is 2 994 439 GEL and is financed from the central budget.
