Reorganization at Republican Hospital to be completed on March 15 instead of February 15

The Health Ministry has extended the deadline to accept proposals as per the compensation package for employees of the Republican Hospital for one month.

“The employees can choose till March 5 instead of February 5, and the reorganization process will be completed on March 15 instead of February 15. We decided to extend the terms upon the request of the hospital staff.

The Ministry continues direct communication with the clinic staff to provide comprehensive, detailed information regarding the Tbilisi Republican Hospital and its employees. The daily meetings with heads of the Medical Holding and the Ministry’s special working group will be held before March 5”, - reads the statement of the agency.

A new hospital will be constructed at the site of the Republican Hospital in Tbilisi. The old building will be demolished.
