A South Caucasus Media Conference was held in Tbilisi under the auspices of the OSCE. The participants elaborated recommendations for the government.

Rustavi2 was between the main issues, which were discussed at the meeting. The international experts  point out that the disputes and ongoing events towards Rustavi2 should be transparent.

" I think Rustavi 2  managers to draw attention to this problem very well.  I hope that this problem will be solved,"- said Greigris , international media expert.

Maia Mikashavidze, the Assistant-professor of Caucasian Journalism and MediaManagementSchool underlined that as Rustavi2 is number one in Georgia, on which Georgian citizens depend, any restrictions will be dangerous. 

" It is important that we  feel  pressure from the government and we believe that this is a politically motivated pressure to make to silence the most critical and pro-opposition television during the election period, "- said Nino Nakashidze, a head of Rustavi 2 "s Foreign Relations and Communications Department .
