The status of an innovative start-up will be determined in Georgia and companies with this status will be exempted from all taxes for 3 years. Such a statement the Prime Minister of Georgia made at the event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Innovation and Technology Agency.

“For the further strengthening of the innovative ecosystem, new initiatives are very important, among which I would like to highlight a decision that will certainly play a very important role in the development of the system.

The status of an innovative start-up will be determined in Georgia and companies with this status will be exempted from all taxes for 3 years.

This is a very important initiative. The relevant Draft Law will be initiated by the Government of Georgia in the near future”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
