The TV `s channel leadership and lawyers assess the court`s decisions against Rustavi 2 as a targeted action.

First Deputy General Directorof the TV company , Zaal Udumashvili, explained that the Goverment is involved in the fight against Rustavi 2 in order to stop the broadcasting company`s work.

"What is now happening around the Rustavi 2 TV, is an obvious case where the whole governmental machine is turned on, to somehow stop the Rustavi 2 TV, the worst thing is that the main leverage of teh Goverment is the court, which should be the main democratic institutions in the country, "- said Zaal Udumashvili.

Zaal Udumashvili also responded to the statement.by the Court. The statement says that the court "condemns statements containing threats and pressure on the judge made in the live broadcast".

"What Judge Urtmelidze is doing in the court is direct pressure, I can reverse the question," - said Udumashvili`.

First Deputy Director General of the broadcasting company, said, "Rustavi 2 will not stop and will not step back"
