The EU Ambassador to Georgia congratulated the Georgian football team and Georgian people on qualifying for the European Championships.

“My sincere congratulations to Georgia, all Georgians for the amazing football match yesterday. I am a bit sleepless today, but the emotions were very high and I am really glad and proud that Georgia has qualified to play at the European Championships. I keep my fingers crossed. Congratulations to the team and everyone for cheering up the team. Gilotsavt (Congratulations)!”, - says Paweł Herczyński.

Georgia’s national football team won a ticket to the 2024 UEFA Euro in Germany by beating Greece and will debut at the European Championship with its first match scheduled against Turkey on July 18 in Dortmund.
