In 2023, 22 275 marriages have been registered, which is a 14.5 percent decrease from the corresponding figure of the previous year, reads the new report of GeoStat.

The mean age of first marriage in 2023 equals 29.7 years for females and 32.1 years for males.

The number of divorces in 2023 equaled 13 664 decreasing by 3.1 percent compared to the previous year.
