Judge Tamaz Urtmelidze has declined 8 out of 10 motions filed by "Rustavi 2". Tamaz Urtmelidzemain started the proceedings in the absence of the main defendants. Director General and the lawyer of the channel could not attend the hearing and the information about ot was provided to the judge on September 17. Despite the request, the judge dismissed the motion to postpone the trial.

Rustavi 2 lawyers also demanded the removal from the case of judge Urtmelidze who as they explain Urtmelidze acted on Ivanishvili"s orders.

The lawyers reminded Tamaz Urtmelidze of the decision taken on 30 September, according to which the shares of the companywere fully seized at the request of Kibar Khalvashi. The lawyers wanted to know how the judge managed to take the decision in 2 hours, while he had four trials scheduled in the same period of time.

According to Judge Tamaz Urtmelidze, his decision is legal.

Rustavi 2"s lawyers have questions to attorneys of Kibar Khalvashi as well. The question was where the claimant had the information that Rustavi 2 requested registration of a purchase contract , the lawyers said that he checked the Respondent"s public register of documents several times a day.
