Eka Gigauri, an executive director of the Transparency International- Georgia stated that the government tries to interfere in the business of media. She discussed the current challenges.

" We"re facing attempts from the government to interfere in media. We have the problems in regions. The facts of pressure on journalists are not investigated,"- said Gigauri.

She also underlined that the judicial system has challenges.

" because more should be done. The judges and judiciary should be more independent. We also have problems and challenges at the  law enforcement bodies,"-stated Gigauri.
