Session of the Interagency Coordinating Council for Combating Organized Crime was held in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The session of the Interagency Coordinating Council for Combating Organized Crime was held in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister, Chairman of the Council - Aleksandre Darakhvelidze.

Within the framework of the session, members of the coordination council discussed the measures implemented by the state agencies in the direction of the fight against organized crime. Also, they discussed the necessary measures for the development of the 2025-2028 strategy and the 2025-2026 action plan for the fight against organized crime and the issue of updating the working groups.

The first deputy head of the State Security Service, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Education, Science and Youth, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor’s Office, the State Security Service and the Special Penitentiary Service participated in the meeting of the Coordination Council.
