City court started hearing of Tamaz Urtmelidze`s mother"s case

The City Court started the trial of Judge Tamaz Urtmelidze`s mother"s criminal case yesterday evening. At the request of the prosecutor, the judge did not concider application of preventive measure to Mdinara Giorgobiani.

Mdinara Giorgobiani was accused of wounding her son-in-law with an ax a year and 9 months after the incident. The trial will continue on October 27.

The Lawyers believe that this criminal case is teh tool by which the prosecutor"s office manipulates judge Tamaz Urtmelidze regarding the Rustavi2 case
